Craig Daniel is a partner and co-founder of Gluck Daniel Atkinson.  Craig is a litigator with expertise in a broad range of commercial, real estate, and intellectual property matters. He divides his practice between complex business litigation disputes involving small-to-midsize companies, and real estate litigation involving purchase/sale disputes, partitions, and other matters.

Craig has achieved significant successes for clients in trials, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

Craig spent the first decade of his legal career at Cooley LLP, where he was recognized by colleagues and clients as an effective advocate, negotiator, and counselor, representing large public companies, startups, and individuals. Craig also led Cooley’s pro bono efforts, winning a pro bono award for the San Francisco office.  

Craig is proud to have co-founded Gluck Daniel in January 2016, where he is currently a partner.

Craig received his JD from University of California’s Hastings College of the Law in 2000. At Hastings, Craig won a national moot court championship and taught Legal Writing and Research to first year law students as a teaching assistant. Craig received his BA from Emory University in 1990.

Craig lives in Oakland’s Rockridge neighborhood. When not running a law firm, Craig can be found throwing a ball with his dog Elton, exploring California backcountry, and cooking cajun food.
